Our Mission: Idaho Spina Bifida supports and educates families and individuals in Idaho who are affected by Spina Bifida.
We are on the ground level of building up the Idaho Spina Bifida Support Group! This is an exciting time because we can make a big impact, but it also means that we need your help! We would love to have you involved, whether it is helping to secure necessary funding, taking on a voluntary position as a mentor or regional representative, or simply planning events.
Affiliate with maternal fetal medicine clinics, neonatal intensive care units, and Myelo clinics by providing family support through ISB brochures, other hospitalization care packages, and snack/activity bags for long clinic days. Educate Idaho Spina Bifida families and the public to create awareness and prevention. Plan and coordinate activities and events throughout the communities in Idaho for families and individuals affected by spina bifida.
Our Long Term Goals
Expand by adding mentors and/or community representatives throughout the state to help build leadership and advocacy for a better quality life for individuals affected by spina bifida. Receive funding from annual sponsors and grants to create the Idaho Spina Bifida Foundation- a non profit fund to help individuals for necessary medical procedures, adaptive equipment, and other expenses that medical insurance may not cover.
We are looking for sponsors! Sponsors are a very important part of our Idaho Spina Bfida Community and donations are just $300. Our goal is to raise the necessary funds to enable our mission and also provide promotional opportunities to our supporters. Please help us encourage, inspire, and empower our group member families and individuals!
